Data We Collect

For restaurant clients: account information (name, email, business details), billing information (processed by Stripe — we do not store card data). For end customers: order information (name, email, address if applicable, order contents), payment information (processed by Stripe).

How We Use Data

Customer order data is used to process orders, send confirmations, and (with consent) for marketing communications. We do not sell customer data to third parties. Restaurant clients retain ownership of their customer data.

Data Storage

Data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) hosted on AWS. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Payment card data is handled entirely by Stripe and never stored on Boom servers.

Text Messages (SMS)

When you give a phone number with an order, the restaurant may text you about that order through Boom Online Ordering: when it is received, ready for pickup, or out for delivery. Expect about one to three texts per order. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop them, or HELP for help. Phone numbers and text-message consent are never sold, rented or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
